Scholarship Program for Children of Negeri Jahe Merah Partner Farmers

Education is a very important aspect and is the right of every citizen as stated in Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. Therefore, PT Bintang Toedjoe through Redgine Sharing helps children, especially children of partner farmers, to get a proper education.

As is known, Redgine and Negeri Jahe Merah have at least 10,000 farmers with communities spread throughout Indonesia. The role of farmers is very important in producing quality and standardized red ginger rhizomes. As a form of appreciation for the hard work of the farmers, Redgine held an educational scholarship program for the children of partner farmers.

Redgine Scholarship sharing started in 2021 and will continue to run every year. Scholarships are given to partner farmers' children who have gone through a screening process by the Community Development Team. Until now, the Redgine Sharing program has been implemented in several cities, namely Lebak (Banten), Trenggalek, and Simalungun. It is hoped that this program can help partner farmer children in undergoing formal education in schools.
