Bejo Bintang Toedjoe promotes the Red Ginger Planting Movement for Productive Citizens

According to Tribunnews, following the first round of training in November 2016, PT Bintang Toedjoe CSR, PT Yakin Raih Sukses (YRS), and the DKI Jakarta city government held training for the second stage of red ginger plant care across DKI Jakarta.

As is widely known, the participants were instructed how to plant red ginger properly and appropriately during the first stage.

On Monday (6/2/2017), the East Jakarta National Population and Family Planning Agency Building hosted the activity "Guiding the Red Ginger Planting Movement for Healthy, Strong, and Production Jakarta."This event was held to strengthen the abilities of the heads of the Red Ginger Program in East Jakarta, according to the East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime Affairs, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP Sub-dept).

"Some of the outcomes from the previous training program have extended to 24 places, and we believe they are still not optimum," stated Deputy Chair I, Head of the KPKP Sub-dept.

This time, 96 people attended the program, including the Head of the KPPAPP Sub-Department, City PKK administrators, District and Urban PKK administrators, as well as food defense extension workers and agricultural training implementers from all around East Jakarta.David Walalangi, President Director of PT YRS, discussed his expertise farming red ginger during the discussion and Q&A session.

During this session, David stated that the participants were fortunate to be able to learn how to produce red ginger for free in order for it to become a profitable business possibility.

"It is hard to teach red ginger for free if you learn it. This is your chance to purchase your own red ginger and become a dependable red ginger merchant," David explained.He also stated that other people must pay 10 millions for this type of training.

"However, thanks to Bejo Bintang Toedjoe, you may learn for free," David said.

In addition, David imparted his expertise in red ginger maintenance.

He demonstrated how to produce red ginger in polybags at last year's program.

According to David, polybags are chosen not only to regulate nutrients in the soil, but also for areas with limited land space, such as Jakarta.

The attendees appeared to be eager in taking part in this session as well. This is noticeable from the numerous inquiries asked to David on the ginger plants they care for in their own areas.

CSR On Monday (6/2/2017), PT Bintang Toedjoe, PT Yakin Raih Sukses (YRS), and the DKI Jakarta city government organized another coaching activity to plant Red Ginger in the East Jakarta National Population and Family Planning Agency Building.

You don't have to be concerned about agricultural yields since PT YRS will buy their red ginger items every 14 months for 18 thousand rupiah per kilogram.
