Purwakarta Becomes the Red Ginger Research Area

According to Jabarprov.go.id, Purwakarta Regent Anne Ratna Mustika stated that PT Bintang Toedjoe's brand ambassador, Deddy Mizwar, made a visit today. Deddy, a former Deputy Governor of West Java, represented the corporation with the goal of conducting red ginger research.

PT Bintang Toedjoe plans to extend its operations to Purwakarta Regency. The business that makes 'masuk angin' drug intends to establish a red ginger research facility in this location.

"In addition to the research facility, there will be a factory that will manufacture red ginger. The idea is to work from upstream to downstream,” she stated, Tuesday (6/8/2021).

Anne stated that her group is very pleased with the company's strategy. To facilitate the plan's realization, the Purwakarta Regency Government will prepare land, namely in Sukatani District.

If the research site is already operating, she believes it will become one of the community's educational tourist sites. Especially the people of Purwakarta Regency.

"We hope it will be fulfilled soon, and we welcome this partnership. Hopefully, our children will have a learning environment for the students education, particularly in agriculture, which is aimed towards medicines, which are herbal in nature and derived from red ginger" she stated.

Furthermore, Bintang Toedjoe urged farmers in Purwakarta to collaborate in the development of this red ginger through Bumdes-Bumdes. Also, the firm will provide training, and the harvest will be absorbed by the corporation.

According to PT Bintang Toedjoe Brand Ambassador Deddy Mizwar, red ginger has recently emerged as an emblem of Indonesian traditional medicine. This red ginger is superior to Korean ginseng.

"We picked Purwakarta as the hub for red ginger growth, as well as education and destination development," he explained.
